CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Crews repaired a water main break that flooded the intersection of Robert Drive and Alameda Street in Corpus Christi Thursday night.

The break happened around 9:50 p.m. in front of Cancun Mexican Restaurant after a contractor installing a utility pole struck a 12-inch water main, according to Ashley Marion with Corpus Christi Water.

Crews stopped the leak by approximately 11 p.m. and continued repair work through the night, wrapping up around 3 a.m., Marion said.
