FORT WORTH – Delia Robledo Canales, 94, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was just one month shy of 95 years. Funeral: 12 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers: Cory Price, Cody Canales, Bryson Martin, Seth Nichols, Mason Price, Jayden Canales; and Honorary pallbearer, Cash Stansbury. Rosary: 6 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Visitation: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Delia was born on July 24, 1931, in Hillsboro, Texas, daughter of Francisco and Leonor V. Robledo. She was a Devout Catholic. She enjoyed being outside and walking among the beautiful creations designed by God, himself. Delia’s life is a testament to the importance of family, faith, and tradition. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the love she gave so freely, and the generations she helped shape. When family left her side, she always said “do the sign of the cross” before we left the house, and before we climbed behind the wheel. Delia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Canales; son, Efrain J. Robledo; her parents, Francisco and Leonor Robledo; her two brothers, Juventino and Frank Robledo Jr.; three sisters, Dora Salas and Emma Ramos and twin sister; dear sister-in-law, Olga Robledo; and special son-in-law, Jose Perfecto. She is survived by children, Christine Mowry (Merl); Olivia Andresen (John); Ray Jr. (Becky); Lydia Canales (Toby); Gilbert and Rachel Canales; many grandchildren; great- grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.
