EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — As America celebrates its 250th birthday, one event in El Paso is taking the celebration to new heights.
At the Soldier Activity Center at Fort Bliss, participants took part in the “Climb to Freedom” event.
The event brought people together for a climb as part of the local observance tied to the nation’s 250th birthday celebration.
As part of the event. participants took on 12 unique climbing routes, ascending a combined 250 feet to honor this historic milestone.
