The Texas Rangers are celebrating Independence Day in impressive fashion.
The glass, which held 638 gallons of Budweiser beer, was stationed at Globe Life Field’s North Plaza. A Guinness World Records representative was on hand to officially commemorate the new record. The Rangers broke a record that stood since July 6, 2014. The previous record holders were Ed Dupuy and Angus Wood from the United Kingdom, who poured 550 gallons of Stod Fold Gold beer in a glass.
The Rangers took to social media on July 2 to announce that they were going for the record. Here’s a look at the team’s celebration after the beer was officially poured:
