The Longhorns featured the SEC’s newcomer of the year, Aiden Robbins, and the league’s freshman of the year, Anthony Pack Jr. The latter is expected to return for the 2027 season, but the former is likely headed to the MLB draft.

So which players will come back in hopes of another CWS run? Who could be headed to the pros? Others still may be leaving the program via transfer, and the Longhorns are already aware of some incoming talent.

UT is coming off a 46-15 season that included a No. 6 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Longhorns won the regional and super regional they hosted under second-year head coach Jim Schlossnagle, eventually falling to Georgia in the College World Series. In all, three UT players made the All-SEC first team and two more made the second team.
