LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – One person is dead after a shooting outside of a north Lubbock apartment complex Sunday morning.
Lubbock Police were initially called to the scene at 12:35 a.m. for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found 27-year-old Joe Ybarra Jr. with multiple gunshot wounds. Ybarra Jr. was rushed to UMC where he died.
No arrests have been made at this time. The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes unit is continuing its investigation.
