The state of Texas loves its world-class sports facilities, and the Dallas Wings are getting closer to having one of their own finished.
“Dallas is our house. A new era of Dallas Wings basketball is on the way. The Dallas Wings Training Facility,” read the Wings post on social media.
The video and renderings showcase an impressive new facility that includes a community lobby, practice courts, a viewing porch, a strength and conditioning wing, a player locker room, a glam room and salon, hydrotherapy and treatment stations, a film study meeting room, a draft war room, open offices, family lounges, a dining area for players, and an in-house content studio.
“A piece of our funding is to accelerate the timeline of the construction to ensure that we have that facility ready for training camp next year,” Wings CEO and managing partner Greg Bibb said in June.
The Wings are currently one of the top teams in the league, boasting a 12-8 record with a few weeks remaining until the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, which will be held in Chicago. Wings star Paige Bueckers is expected to be a member of the exhibition, as Dallas hopes to make a postseason run afterward. The Wings will next play the Toronto Tempo on July 5 in Toronto.
