One person was treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation, according to the Arlington Fire Department.
ARLINGTON, Texas — The Arlington Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating after a shop in a strip center caught fire Sunday morning, officials say.
Firefighters were called to the fire at 9:58 a.m. The center is located in the 2200 block of South Fielder Road at the intersection of West Arkansas Lane.
Upon arrival, the first unit saw heavy fire coming from the strip center and called for a second alarm to ensure enough resources were available.
Officials say the fire originated from a vehicle inspection center in the strip center.
One person was treated at the scene for minor smoke inhalation and released. No firefighters were reported injured.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
