SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Multiple suspects may be on the loose after a fatal shooting at an East Side apartment complex Saturday night.
Shots rang out around 10:45 p.m. in the 1700 block of Lamar Street, and when police arrived they found several people hurt. An 18-year-old identified by family members as Cory Dixon died after being rushed to the hospital.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a number of people walking near the complex started shooting at a residence, and people were hit both inside and outside of the building.
Investigators say two children ages 12 and 5 were among those taken to the hospital, and they were last reported in stable condition. At least three other victims were also taken to the hospital.
The motive for the shooting is unknown, and no arrests have been made.
