EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are seeking tips to identify the five suspects who carried out a violent home invasion at a Northeast El Paso apartment.
According to Crime Stoppers, the incident occurred around 12:41 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, at an apartment complex located on Maxwell Avenue.
Investigators say five men violently forced their way into the apartment as another man was about to enter.
Once inside, one of the suspects beat a man with a baseball bat while the others threatened residents with handguns. The men also forced one of the residents outside of the apartment, where they continued to assault him.
The attackers fled the scene shortly after.
Crime Stoppers of El Paso describes one of the suspects as having pink and blue hair, while three of the men were wearing facemasks.
