With the world’s biggest soccer tournament in full swing, it’s important to have a TV that allows you to fully enjoy every second of the action. Hisense has discounted the 65-inch model of its E6 TV to $378 ($100 off), its lowest price at Amazon in months. If you’re upgrading from a 1080P set or want to get a bigger-screen TV than the one you have now, it’s a worthy upgrade.
The E6 is an excellent all-around TV, which means you’ll have a good experience regardless of what you’re watching or playing. It has a 60Hz refresh rate, so everything you watch will look pretty smooth, and it supports both Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ adaptive, two technologies that ensure accurate colors. Similarly, it has an AI light sensor that’ll automatically adjust the TV’s settings based on the lighting conditions in your room.
Hisense equipped the E6 with four HDMI ports, two USB-A ports, an AV input, a digital audio output, an Ethernet port, a coaxial (antenna) port, and a headphone jack. You’ll have no trouble keeping your game consoles, gaming PC, soundbar, and 4K Blu-ray player connected without relying on an HDMI switcher. You won’t need to connect a media streamer because the TV runs on Amazon’s FireOS, which lets you access apps for popular streaming services directly from the set.
Running FireOS also makes the Hisense E6 fully integrated with Alexa, Amazon’s smart home assistant. You can access the assistant directly from the included remote and adjust the TV’s settings (current input, volume, etc.) with your voice. Alexa can also be used to control compatible smart home accessories, answer your questions, set timers, and perform hundreds of other functions. Alexa support turns Hisense’s E6 into the ideal living-room smart-home hub.
Hisense’s E6 is an excellent TV for most people, but it’s not the only model that’s on sale. If you’d like to step up to the E7, you can pick up the 65-inch model for $848 ($650 off) at Amazon. That model has a faster refresh rate, a Mini-LED panel with better backlighting for improved contrast, an anti-reflection coating, and an improved audio system. You can’t go wrong with either model, but if your budget allows, the E7 is one of the best TVs you can get for under $1,000 while it’s on sale.
