The show stars Samuel L. Jackson as hit man Russell Lee Washington Jr. from Tulsa King. Sheridan wrote all eight episodes of the new series, which will see Russell restart in Frisco after turning down an assignment in Tulsa King.
While filming in the D-FW area, Jackson found time to participate in World Cup activities. The Academy Award nominee brought the ball onto the pitch during the pregame festivities for the Egypt and Australia game on July 3.
