LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Fire Rescue was on scene at the 2600 block of 112th St. following a cut gas line Monday.
LFR said in an earlier social media post that 34 homes were evacuated in the area between Akron Ave. and Canton Ave., south of 111th St. and north of 112th St.
Lubbock Power and Light isolated power to the block before 5:30 p.m. According to the public outage map, 93 customers were affected by the forced outage.
Atmos Energy sent crews around that same time and were able to isolate the line that was hit. Five customers were without gas service as a result.
Around 8:15 p.m., Atmos said crews repaired the line and were cleaning up the area.
