Zachariah Boywa Apela, 48, of Hatfield, PA, died Sunday, June 28, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Loice Ogada Boywa. Born July 7, 1977, in Nairobi, Kenya, he was a son of the late Richard and Penina (Nyawalo) Apela. Zak was employed as a personal care assistant with Grand View Hospital for many years. He was a longtime member of Pennridge Christian Fellowship, Blooming Glen, PA. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Penina Odeny Boywa, Phoebe Auma Boywa, and Sophie Atieno Boywa; three brothers, Dr. George, Rev. Alfred, and Albert; four sisters, Millicent, Mary, Neleah, and Dr. Pauline; and a large extended family. Burial will be in the Apela Family Cemetery, Ahero, Kenya.
