A Texas boy is alive thanks to quick thinking from his big sister.Police say the two were jumping on a trampoline when he started choking.Video shows the girl, Leah, performing abdominal thrusts. Police said she learned the choking rescue technique from a babysitting guide and her mom.According to the National Library of Medicine, choking may block a person’s airway, and brain damage can happen in as little as 4 to 6 minutes if oxygen can’t flow to the brain.Police said Leah proves age is no barrier to being a hero.
