The Dallas-Fort Worth area just landed a growing Asian beauty retailer with a new store in a Frisco mall that’s adding new brands.

Sukoshi has opened a shop at Stonebriar Centre, and it’s the first shop in Texas, according to the company in a recent statement. The store is among less than 10 in the U.S., where the company has sites in New York and California, among other spots.

The brand, founded in the Toronto area, gives shoppers options on Korean skin care and Japanese and Chinese makeup, hair care, sheet masks, gifts, accessories and other items. Shoppers can browse those items in the Texas store that covers about 1,200 square feet.

“Frisco is a fast-growing community with a strong retail scene, and we have seen a lot of excitement around Asian beauty across Texas,” the company said in an emailed statement. “Our goal with this expansion is to make Asian beauty accessible across North America and of course, Texas is a state we were extremely interested in.”

Sukoshi, which also has stores in Canada, is tapping into the growing popularity of Asian beauty products, including brands tied to Korea. For example, in January Vogue said “in the past year, Korean cosmetics have taken the Western market completely by storm” as it talked about seven “K-beauty trends” for 2026.

Sukoshi is one of the newest additions to Stonebriar Centre as it brings in new names that help attract shoppers and keep them there longer. Edikted, the California clothing brand, activewear retailer Alo and Urban Outfitters, which sells clothing accessories, are among the more recent names to join the mall.

The shopping hub also is slated to add other sites that include Dick’s House of Sport and the Gem Studio, which provides workshops and sells jewelry, according to the mall.

“Each new opening strengthens our offerings and gives our customers even more reasons to visit,” said Randy Barnett, senior general manager of Stonebriar Centre, owned and operated by GGP, in the statement.

Sukoshi has plans for other sites in the U.S. with expectations to open in the Chicago area and Arizona, along with more stores in California.
