HOUSTON – An investigation is underway after skeletal remains were found Monday afternoon in a vacant field in north Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The discovery was made around 4:35 p.m. at 1003 Greens Road.
HPD homicide detectives and investigators with the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences confirmed the skeletal remains were human.
The investigation is pending results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
