WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Former Waco attorney Adam Dean Hoffman is no longer eligible to practice law in Texas, according to the State Bar of Texas.
Hoffman’s State Bar profile now lists his status as “not eligible to practice in Texas.”
His disciplinary status is listed as “resigned in lieu of disciplinary action.”
KWTX previously reported Hoffman pleaded guilty to indecent assault and displaying harmful material to a minor after initially facing a first-degree felony charge of continuous sexual abuse of a young child.
He was sentenced to 60 days in jail and later released after serving 29 days.
At the time, the State Bar said Hoffman’s resignation had to be approved by the Texas Supreme Court before his profile would be updated to show he was no longer eligible to practice law in Texas.
KWTX has also reported Hoffman is now living in Nebraska, where he was required to register as a sex offender.
