LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The South Plains Associations of Governments is continuing its 2026 WTX Small Business Summit Summer Workshop Series with free lunchtime workshops designed to provide practical information and resources for small business owners.
The Summer Workshop Series includes sessions in June, July, and August leading up to the full-day WTX Small Business Summit on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
Upcoming workshops in the series will include Small Business Refinancing on Thursday, July 9, and Credit Repair on Friday, August 7. The Small Business Refinancing workshop will be hosted by Kelly Criswell and Chelsey Baldivia.

These workshops continue building toward the WTX Small Business Summit, which brings together small business owners, entrepreneurs, lenders, resource partners, and community organizations from across the South Plains region for a day of workshops, networking, and access to valuable business resources.
