HALL Park in Frisco is a 2.6 million-square-foot mixed-use community that has pioneered development in Frisco since the mid-1990s. Office spaces are spread out across 16 buildings. Luxury apartments at The Monarch are now complete, and one-third of the area features green space, including the Texas Sculpture Garden and over three miles of walking trails. Eventually, the master plan, which spans 20 years, will encompass 9.5 million square feet of usable mixed space.
The latest newcomers to HALL Park’s ongoing transformation are two celebrated restaurants from Downtown Dallas: Tango Room and Commissary, both of which are owned by Headington Companies.
About Headington
Headington Companies, in case you’re not familiar, is the primary, privately held company that has led the downtown Dallas renaissance for over two decades. The company is behind The Joule, Forty Five Ten (and Mirador) and many other major food and beverage destinations in downtown Dallas.

“For several years, Headington Companies has been actively searching for high-impact locations to expand the reach of our restaurant portfolio. We’re now proud and extremely excited that HALL Park will soon be home to the second locations of both Commissary and Tango Room, building on the success of their original Dallas venues,” said Michael Tregoning, President of Headington Companies.
Both concepts will be located at 3101 Gaylord Parkway and will occupy ground-level retail space beneath The Monarch luxury apartments. They’re both slated to open in fall 2026.
The Commissary is a European-style market that serves as a cafe, bakery, gelateria and neighborhood market all in one. It serves all-day breakfast and lunch, making it easily suitable for weekend brunches and on-the-go lunches.
The Warhol Though
We love Tango Room. This under-the-mainstream-radar restaurant is an intimate (12 tables), modern steakhouse that serves timeless classics and a robust wine list. It offers a dining experience in Dallas that is truly one-of-one — including an original Andy Warhol behind the hostess stand, along with other art throughout the space — so we’re curious to see what they do with a second location. And if another black diamond-dusted Warhol will also greet you.
The ground floor of The Monarch provides both concepts with more flexibility. The Tango Room will feature a private dining room and a larger bar that accommodates a higher seating capacity. Commissary’s HALL Park location will become the brand’s flagship operation, housing all bakery and wholesale operations, in addition to catering services.
