Grand Prairie students, get ready for the new school year with free school supplies! NBC 5 and Telemundo 39 are Supporting Our Schools with the El Mochilón Back to School Supplies & Health Resources Fair! Presented by the Hispanic Heritage Ambassadors DFW, the fair takes place on Thursday, August 6, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Village Tech Odyssey School in Grand Prairie.
The event aims to prepare children with the necessary tools for a successful start of the new school year. Community partners, healthcare providers, and vendors will be on site to offer families free backpacks and school supplies, eye exams, vaccines, and haircuts! The event also promises to offer family-friendly entertainment with art, food, and more!
