CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man died after being struck by a vehicle during a disturbance Wednesday morning in Corpus Christi, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Officers were dispatched around 10:43 a.m. to the 4500 block of Moravian Drive after receiving a report of a disturbance with injuries.
When officers arrived, they found a man with life-threatening injuries and immediately began providing first aid until emergency medical crews arrived.

Police said detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene because of the nature of the incident.
A preliminary investigation found that a disturbance involving a weapon occurred and that the man was struck by a vehicle during the incident, police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Multiple people were detained at the scene and are being interviewed by investigators.
Police said the people involved knew each other and described the case as an isolated incident. No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
