Ted Lasso star Cristo Fernandez could debut for El Paso Locomotive FC Saturday

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Ted Lasso star Cristo Fernandez, who portrayed “Dani Rojas,” is set to make his professional soccer debut for El Paso Locomotive FC on Saturday against New Mexico United.

Fernandez, who signed with the club back in May, will be included in the Locos’ 18-man squad to face their cross-state rivals on Saturday.

The Locos are coming off a 2-1 victory over Las Vegas Lights FC this past Saturday.

El Paso currently sits on 19 points and in 7th place in the USL Championship Western Conference.
