After a disappointing finish to the 2025 season, the Dallas Cowboys are looking ahead to the new campaign.
Much of the focus this offseason has centered around the team’s defense, which could get a boost from new coordinator Christian Parker. The team also picked up some new names for the defensive unit, led by first-round draftees Christian Parker and Malachi Lawrence.
As the offseason moves forward and NFL teams prepare for training camp, we’re breaking down the Cowboys’ 2026 roster by position groups. Today, let’s take a look at CeeDee Lamb and the wide receivers:

2026 Dallas Cowboys wide receivers
CeeDee Lamb
Age: 27 NFL experience: 7 years
Contract: Signed a four-year, $136 million extension in 2024.
Summary: Lamb is still WR1 in Dallas. Or is it WR1A? Either way, he should still be a focal point of the Cowboys’ offense. He notched his fifth consecutive 1,000-yard season in 2025, despite missing some games due to injury.

If Lamb is firing on all cylinders, the Cowboys could field one of the NFL’s top offenses again.
George Pickens
Age: 25 NFL experience: 5 years
Contract: Playing on a franchise tag worth $27.3 million in 2026.
Summary: Pickens could be considered WR1B. He was the team’s leading receiver last year, catching 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns. He may be playing with added motivation this year since he’s working under a franchise tag.

Could Pickens convince the Cowboys (or another NFL team) to give him a lucrative long-term deal next offseason?
Ryan Flournoy
Age: 26 NFL experience: 3 years
Contract: Entering Year 2 of a two-year, $2 million contract he signed in 2025.
Summary: Flournoy was a surprise standout in 2025. When Lamb was out, he stepped up and showed he could handle an extended workload in Dallas’ offense. After finishing the season with 475 receiving yards and four touchdowns, Flournoy is looking to take another important step.

If Flournoy can make another jump, the Cowboys could have the NFL’s top wide receiver group.
KaVontae Turpin
Age: 29 NFL experience: 5 years
Contract: Signed a three-year, $13.5 million extension in 2025.
Summary: Is this the year we see Turpin make more noise as a receiver? Throughout his NFL career, he’s made an impact as a dangerous kick returner. Dallas made an investment in Turpin when it signed the special teams standout to a three-year extension last year.

Maybe Turpin can build on the 396-receiving-yard, two-touchdown performance he had in 2025.
Jonathan Mingo
Age: 25 NFL experience: 4 years
Contract: Playing on a reworked one-year, $1.145 million deal in 2026.
Summary: It’s been nearly two years since Dallas traded a fourth-round draft pick for Mingo. He has yet to find his footing with the squad. Mingo only appeared in six games last year, catching one pass for 25 yards.

The Cowboys were impressed with Mingo’s potential in the past. Can he live up to the expectations in a pivotal season?
Marquez Valdes-Scantling
Age: 31 NFL experience: 9 years
Contract: Signed a one-year, $1.3 million deal with Dallas in the offseason.
Summary: The Cowboys signed the veteran to a deal over the offseason. He brings experience to the group, posting 219 receptions for 3,686 yards and 21 touchdowns since entering the league in 2018.
Traeshon Holden
Age: 24 NFL experience: 1 year
Contract: Signed a two-year reserve/future deal with Dallas worth $1.9 million in 2026.
Summary: Holden made plenty of noise in last year’s training camp. Fans were hoping he could make the 53-man roster to start the season. He ended up on the team’s practice squad.
Holden could be a name to watch for Dallas’ fifth wide receiver spot this year.
Anthony Smith
Age: 24 NFL experience: Rookie
Contract: Signed a four-year, $4.5 million rookie deal with Dallas.
Summary: Smith was Dallas’ final pick in the 2026 NFL draft. He closed out his collegiate career at East Carolina, posting 64 catches for 1,053 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025. Smith could be a name to watch for a special teams role.
