If you’ve ever wandered the aisles of IKEA imagining a kitchen that actually works for your life — all without leaving your neighborhood — now’s your chance. IKEA U.S. is bringing its signature design chops into select Best Buy stores in Texas and Florida, unveiling an immersive “shop-in-shop” experience aimed at making functional, beautiful living spaces more accessible than ever, according to a release.

The pilot locations include Boynton Beach, Lakeland (also a pickup point for IKEA products), Melbourne, Waterford Lakes, Daytona Beach, and Alamo Ranch, TX (also a pickup hub). For Texans, a second wave hits Mesquite, Hulen, and South Austin on November 14, with Humble following at a later date.

The concept is straightforward — and delightfully practical. Visitors can wander through curated kitchen and laundry room setups, get tips from IKEA experts, and shop for appliances like refrigerators, microwaves, ranges, dishwashers, and washer-dryer sets, all under one roof.

“This partnership is about bringing great design, functionality, and affordability closer to the many,” said Javier Quiñones, IKEA U.S. CEO & Chief Sustainability Officer. “We can’t wait to welcome customers in Florida and Texas to experience this new way to shop IKEA in Best Buy.”

For the first time in the U.S., IKEA products will be available through another retailer — a significant step in the brand’s push to create better everyday lives for more people.

Opening-day festivities at Alamo Ranch and Waterford Lakes will include exclusive giveaways and remarks from executives of both brands, while team members on-site guide shoppers through the new experience. It’s a fusion of inspiration, innovation, and convenience — a one-stop approach for Texans and Floridians looking to rethink their kitchens, laundry rooms, and everyday home life.

“We’re always looking for ways to better help our customers bring the best experiences to life in their homes, and we’re excited for them to explore IKEA at Best Buy and discover what’s possible when great design meets the latest technology,” said Patrick McGinnis, Chief Merchandising Officer at Best Buy. “This partnership brings together the best of IKEA and Best Buy to create a truly unique experience that we know customers will love and where they can seamlessly imagine, design and shop for their kitchens and laundry rooms like never before.”
