After a long wait, mini golf at the Pearl is finally open. But before you brave the summer crowds, here’s what you need to know about the downtown destination’s newest addition.
The new mini golf course, Pearl Putt Putt is located across from 1100 Springs Plaza and Stable Hall. According to Google Maps, you can find it bounded by Grayson Street to the north and Emma Koehler to the south, with Karnes Street running in front. If you visited the Pearl ice rink in the winter, that’s where you’ll find putt putt.
Once you arrive, you’ll find a practice area and 18 holes to play amongst miniaturized versions of San Antonio landmarks. According to a press release, the seasonal course is designed as an homage to “local landmarks and Pearl’s brewing heritage, offering an added family-friendly activity for visitors before or after dining, shopping or attending one of Pearl’s many events.”
Those sights will include the famous brewery’s smokestacks, the former brewhouse that now houses Hotel Emma, as well as the Alamo and Tower of the Americas.
Tickets cost $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 years old or younger. You can buy them on site or via Google Maps and Apple Maps, according to the press release.
The Pearl putt putt course is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. According a spokesperson, visitors will be able to play the course until September with possible extended dates.
