Arlington firefighters rescue dog from house fire, three residents displaced.

No injuries were reported during Thursday afternoon house fire, officials said.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington firefighters rescued a dog from a house fire Thursday. 

They were called to the home in the 800 block of Ross Trail just before 7 p.m.. The first arriving crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the one-story home and immediately began an aggressive fire attack, officials said. 

Everyone living at the home was able to make it out before firefighters arrived, but they were not able to get to their dog. 

Firefighters entered the home, got the dog and reunited it with its owners. 

Crews also quickly brought the fire under control and no injuries were reported. However, three residents have been displaced. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
