Beth or Bee as she was often called, left this earth and passed through the gates of heaven after 73 years of living and loving family and so many friends. She was the oldest of 4 daughters born to Ann and Ed Phillips. She was always the protector of her younger sisters guiding them and their friends through life. Beth graduated from Arlington Heights in 1970. She worked in many capacities, first working for our dad in his law offices in downtown Ft Worth at the old Electric building. She also was dedicated to Tarrant County Crime Commission for many years. Beth loved Galveston, where she and her family vacationed every summer.
She had a passion for flowers and animals. she grew irises that originated with our grandmother. She adopted wild cats and especially loved dogs. For many years, she was enthralled with plays, lectures and concerts. She had a dedicated troop of friends who went with her. We all had so much fun. She loved holidays and Halloween was her favorite. She worked for weeks to get ready and kept track by counter how many people came by. Her neighborhood was well aware and faithfully showed up every year.
She made lifelong friends wherever she went. Once you met Beth and received her love, it lasted a lifetime. She never forgot anyone and went out of her way to let them know they would be forever in her heart. So many carry her in their hearts as well. (She never missed a birthday or anniversary).
