DALLAS — A massive 3-alarm fire in north Dallas destroyed an entire condominium building, displaces dozens Friday morning, officials say.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the 11400 block of Audelia Road just after 1 a.m. Friday. When crews arrived on scene, they found heavy flames coming from one of the three story residences at the Cambridge Park Condominiums, according to firefighters.

Fire crews began to fight the fire defensively, or from the outside of the building, but due to the fire spreading, a second alarm was quickly called in.
The flames continued and a third-alarm response was requested due to the amount of fire. Approximately 60-70 firefighters are on scene working to put the flames out.
The building has sustained significant damage with roof collapses in multiple locations of the building, officials say. According to Dallas-Fire Rescue, at least 24 condominiums have been destroyed and over 45 residents displaced. The Red Cross has been called to assist the displaced.
