Keep your raincoat handy but don’t cancel your outdoor plans today! There’s a chance you could get some rain if you don’t time your activities at the right time in San Antonio.
Rain chances are 50% on Saturday, July 11, according to the NWS Austin/San Antonio office. While rain chances decrease on Sunday to 20%, they will rise again to 50% on Monday, July 13, and Tuesday, July 14, the NWS reported.
The NWS said there’s a slight chance of showers between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and then a chance of thunderstorms after 1 p.m. on Saturday.
There’s also a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m. and a slight chance of showers after 1 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, per the forecast.
“Increasing clouds, with a low around 77. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%,” the NWS said in the Saturday night forecast.
As far as Sunday, “A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. Southeast wind around 5 mph,” according to NWS.
It will still be pretty hot this weekend, with temperatures in the low 90s through Sunday. The NWS said the heat index, or feels-like temperatures, remains elevated with a range of 100-107 degrees through Monday.
San Antonians may notice a slight cooldown in highs and feels-like temps toward the middle of next week.
