Saturday’s high is forecast by the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office to be 99 degrees, with a heat index, or “feels like” temperature, of up to 103. Temperatures could drop as low as 79 degrees. 

Sunny, clear skies and slight breezes can also be expected Saturday, according to the weather service. Moderate humidity is predicted. 

On Sunday, precipitation is set to return to the region. The weather service expects a 60% chance of non-severe thunderstorms Sunday, likely to occur in the evening. 

Sunday’s high is forecast to be 97 degrees. 

Precipitation chances will continue into next week, remaining at 60% Monday before dropping slightly to 35% Tuesday and 25% Wednesday, according to the weather service. 

With these showers and storms comes a drop in temperatures, and the weather service predicts temperatures will fall to the low 90s early next week.
