A Houstonian who left the city for college and began her career in Arkansas and Louisiana is returning to the city and to TV news.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Bryanna Moore announced that she is joining CW39 as a multimedia journalist and host.
“There were moments I prayed for opportunities I couldn’t yet see, trusted His timing when it didn’t make sense, and believed He was writing a story bigger than I could imagine. Today, I get to see part of that story unfold,” Moore wrote on a post marking the announcement. “As a proud Houston native, this moment is more than a new job—it’s a full-circle blessing. The city that raised me is now the city I’ll have the honor of serving through storytelling.”
She later added, “And Houston… I’m coming home. I can’t wait to tell the stories that matter, serve the community that helped shape me, and begin this next chapter. Here’s to new beginnings, answered prayers, and God’s perfect timing.”
Moore currently works as a weekend anchor and reporter for Nextstar’s sister station WGMB-TV in Baton Rouge. After joining Louisiana First News in 2025, she established herself as both a multimedia journalist and a reporter, launching Front Row with Bryanna Moore in June ahead of her move to CW39.
Before her time in Baton Rouge, Moore began her career at KNWA in Rogers, Arkansas, splitting time between the region’s sister station, KFTA-TV, and KNWA as a field reporter. In 2024, What The Buzz named her one of the “10 News Reporters To Watch For.”
According to her station bio at Louisiana First, Moore spent her entire life in Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Media. A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., she’s found time and energy to work in the community and spend time with family.
