A collision involving two semi-trucks has closed all westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 175 in Dallas.

The Texas Department of Transportation detected the crash just before 10 a.m. The Dallas Fire-Rescue Department sent a hazmat response team after two semi-trucks collided on CF Hawn Freeway at Elam Road.

The hazmat response team was called to address diesel leaking from the punctured saddle tank of one of the trucks.

One person was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Traffic is being diverted to the nearest exit. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Department said they are working on cleanup, but it is unknown how long it will take to clear the scene.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
