The incoming Texas de Brazil steakhouse has found a location in El Paso.
Media representatives for Cielo Vista Mall confirmed that the Brazilian steakhouse will take over the former Red Lobster on the property. The last day of operation for Red Lobster at that location was March 22.
Texas de Brazil is a high-end Brazilian restaurant known for churrasco-style cooking, which involves grilling meat over an open flame on skewers.

Interestingly, another Brazilian steakhouse seems to be coming to the El Paso Central area, three miles away from Cielo Vista Mall.

According to its Facebook page, Las Espadas restaurants originated in Mexico. There are several restaurants in Monterrey, Hermosillo, Aguascalientes and Juarez.
Aside from grilling meat on skewers, the restaurant is known for its well-stocked salad, bread and dessert section.
Workers at the site estimated they would be working at the restaurant for about another month.

The two new steakhouses are a welcome addition to the spike in steakhouses recently in El Paso.
