EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Firefighters with the Las Cruces Fire Department extinguished a mobile home fire Sunday evening, July 12.
Just after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, crews were dispatched to a structure fire along the 300 block of Karen Drive.

The first arriving crew encountered an active fire and smoke coming from the structure: a mobile home.
According to Las Cruces Fire, the first arriving crew performed a thorough search of the home and did not see any victims. The home appeared to be unoccupied.
The fire was brought under control within 15 minutes and there was no damage done to surrounding structures.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
