SAN ANTONIO – State officials have discontinued the Amber Alert for a missing 7-month-old baby.
Around 7 p.m. on Monday, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced that the Amber Alert for 7-month-old Ozana Cisneros had been discontinued.
The Amber Alert was originally issued for Ozana and her mother, 19-year-old Maximina Cisneros, around 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 9.

Ozana Cisneros was last seen by family members on June 10 at a home off Roosevelt Avenue near Lowell Street.
She was last seen with her mother, identified as 19-year-old Maximina Cisneros. She had last been seen on July 3rd, before she was found by officers and federal agents inside an abandoned home near Concepcion park.
Late Friday, Search teams looking for missing 7-month-old Ozana Cisneros discovered skeletal remains near Concepcion Park, hours after her missing mother was rescued from a vacant home nearby.

Officers uncovered the remains around 9:30 p.m. Investigators have not yet determined whether the remains are human, nor have they confirmed any connection to the missing infant.
Maximina Cisneros was rushed to a local hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

In a separate development, the mother’s boyfriend, Isaiah Lopez, was taken into custody Friday, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.
Lopez attempted to flee from San Antonio police officers before he was arrested. He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
During the arrest, officers reportedly found a firearm, and Lopez was booked on the outstanding warrant as well as a gun-related charge.
The recovered remains have yet to be identified as those of 7-month-old Ozana Cisneros. This is a developing story.
