As rain moves into San Antonio, many roads and highways are seeing the impacts. According to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) a crash reported on I-10 and Woodstone not from USAA, has led to multiple lane closures. The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. and is impacting the eastbound lanes of I-10.
TxDOT reports at least three mainlanes are closed as a result of the crash. Traffic monitoring site SigAlert reports traffic backed up to the 557 exit. Stop and go traffic is being reported in the area. Meanwhile on the Northeast Side of town, a crash was reported just before 7 a.m. near I-35 and Judson Road. SigAlert reports traffic is backed up to Evans Road. Delays up to 30 minutes are being reported.
The weather has also led to some minor flooding and multiple road closures across the city. According to the Bexar Flood map, at least 12 road closures are being reported across San Antonio on Tuesday, July 14. The closures are primarily affecting multiple parts of the area.
According to traffic monitoring site SigAlert, high-water is being reported on the two left lanes along I-10 near FM 53, backing up traffic to Camp Bullis. There was crash reported earlier in that area, however it has since cleared.
