The body of a 62-year-old man was recovered from Benbrook Lake on Monday morning.
Texas Game Wardens and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began searching Sunday evening for a man seen at about 6 p.m. slipping underwater in a swimming area near Mustang Park.
Game wardens and USACE employees searched the area but suspended operations overnight. The search resumed after dawn Monday with help from fire department dive teams in Fort Worth and Tarrant County.
On Monday afternoon, game wardens reported recovering the body of Freddy Ferrer Bracamonte at about 9:30 a.m.
Officials have not revealed any other information about Bracamonte’s cause of death.
