The culinary team behind some of Whataburger’s most innovative creations has concocted a sweet duo that just might keep you cool this summer. The San Antonio-based burger chain is days away from launching its new limited-time offers, which bring peachy flavors to two drinkable menu items.
On July 21, Whataburger is releasing two limited-time items –– the Summer Peach Whatafresher and the Peaches & Cream Shake. The Summer Peach Whatafresher is an iced beverage featuring real, freeze-dried fruit and comes in a 16-ounce cup for $3.69. The Peaches & Cream Shake leans more toward dessert, with a creamy, vanilla-based blend infused with peach flavor, and it costs $3.99 for a 20-ounce size. A Whataburger news release said that sizes and prices may vary.
“There’s something about peach that tastes like summer itself — sunshine, road trips, the whole season in one sip,” said Whataburger corporate executive chef James Sanchez in the news release. “And because a little extra is just how we do things, we gave peach two lives this summer — a light, breezy Whatafresher for the quick cool-down, and a rich Peaches & Cream Shake for the indulgent treat.”
Whataburger’s limited-time offers often feature new takes on classic burgers, beverages and chicken sandwiches that aren’t normally on the regular menu.
