ALVORD, Texas — A 24-year-old Wise County man has been arrested following a child exploitation investigation involving authorities from Taylor and Wise counties, according to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said deputies with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigative Division, working alongside the Wise County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant Tuesday at a residence in Alvord as part of an investigation into the alleged online solicitation of a minor.

Authorities identified the suspect as Isaiah Johnson, 24, of Wise County.

According to the sheriff’s office, investigators allege Johnson attempted to arrange a meeting for a sexual encounter with someone he believed was a 13-year-old girl from Taylor County. During a subsequent interview, investigators said Johnson admitted to possessing child sexual abuse material.

Johnson was arrested on a Taylor County warrant charging him with online solicitation of a minor. He was also booked on charges related to the promotion or possession of child pornography, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officials said Johnson was booked into the Wise County Jail. Bond on the online solicitation charge was set at $75,000.
