WeWork is growing its presence in Plano. The flexible workspace provider signed a 26,888-square-foot expansion at Legacy Town Center, located at 6900 N. Dallas Parkway, doubling its footprint at the property to 53,776 square feet across two floors.
The newly expanded workspace is expected to open this summer and marks WeWork’s first expansion in the Dallas-Fort Worth market since 2019.
Responding To Growing Demand
According to WeWork, the expansion reflects increasing demand for flexible office space in North Texas.
The company reported that foot traffic across its Dallas-Fort Worth locations has increased 25% since the start of the year, while WeWork On Demand bookings have grown 17% over the same period. Company leaders said the additional space will help accommodate businesses relocating to the region and companies looking for flexible workplace solutions.

A Modern Workspace
The new floor will be built to WeWork’s latest design standards and will feature enhanced acoustics, updated lighting and furnishings, collaborative meeting rooms, a coworking lounge and turnkey private offices. The space is designed to serve businesses ranging from startups to multinational companies with flexible lease options.
Melissa Viosky, senior director of real estate at WeWork, said the Plano location has experienced growing demand due to companies relocating to North Texas.
“Heightened demand has been the leading trend at WeWork 6900 North Dallas Parkway, with an abundance of technology and software companies needing our workspaces as they relocate to the region, driven by the strong business environment and increasingly skilled talent pool,” said Viosky. “Our additional floor at the building is evidence of that, a prime example of how WeWork is thoughtfully and opportunistically meeting elevated member interest.”
The Plano expansion follows WeWork’s emergence from bankruptcy restructuring in 2024. The company says it returned to profitability in 2025 and has continued expanding in select markets where demand for flexible office space remains strong.
