EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) –A 32-year-old man was arrested in a joint operation on three warrants for sex crimes against a child in El Paso’s Lower Valley, according to a news release by the El Paso County Constable’s Office for Precinct Three.
Ivan Jade Zacarias was arrested on one count of sexual abuse of a child under 14 years old and two counts of sexual assault of a child. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail with a $90,000 bond.

With assistance from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 8400 block of Villanova, acting on credible information regarding Zacaris’ whereabouts.
Deputies made contact at the residence and confirmed that Zacarias was inside the home. During the operation, deputies encountered “resistance from family members who were unwilling to surrender the wanted fugitive,” according to the Constable’s Office.
After a short time, Zacarias exited the residence and was taken into custody without further incident.
“Continued joint operations between the Constable’s Offices and the Sheriff’s Office remain essential in locating and apprehending individuals with outstanding criminal warrants,” read the news release.
