Over 160 restaurants across the region will offer prix fixe menus to support local nonprofits

One of North Texas’ most anticipated dining traditions is back for a milestone year. DFW Restaurant Week returns this August to celebrate its 30th anniversary, once again inviting diners to explore some of the region’s top restaurants while supporting two organizations working to strengthen local communities.

More than 160 restaurants are expected to participate in this year’s event, offering special prix fixe menus from Aug. 10 through Sept. 7. Reservations opened July 16, when the full lineup of participating restaurants and menus will be released.

A Month Of Dining With A Purpose

Despite its name, DFW Restaurant Week has grown into a month-long celebration. While the official event runs Aug. 10–16, many restaurants will continue serving their special menus through Labor Day, Sept. 7. Select locations will also participate in Preview Weekend from Aug. 6–9, giving diners an early opportunity to take advantage of the annual event.

Participating restaurants span Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton and Rockwall counties, making it easy for North Texans to join in without traveling far.

Each participating restaurant donates a portion of every Restaurant Week meal to either the North Texas Food Bank or Lena Pope, depending on its location.

“DFW Restaurant Week is a powerful example of what happens when our community comes together to help ensure every neighbor has access to the food they need to thrive,” said North Texas Food Bank President and CEO Trisha Cunningham. “For every dollar raised through participating restaurants, we can provide three meals — ensuring children, families and older adults across our community have nourishing food. We are deeply grateful to the chefs, restaurants and diners who are turning a meal out into meaningful impact for the 1 in 6 North Texans facing hunger.”

What Diners Can Expect

Restaurants will offer at least one of several prix fixe options throughout the event:


Three-course dinner for $49, with $10 donated to charity
Three-course dinner for $59, with $12 donated
Signature Experience dinner for $99, with $20 donated
Two-course lunch for $29, with $6 donated
Two-course weekend brunch for $29, with $6 donated

Guests can browse participating restaurants by cuisine, neighborhood or meal type before booking through OpenTable or directly with each restaurant.

Thirty Years Of Giving Back

Since its launch three decades ago, DFW Restaurant Week has become one of the region’s largest annual fundraising dining events, benefiting both the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope.

For North Texans, the event has become an annual excuse to revisit favorite restaurants, discover new ones and support two causes that continue to serve families across the region, one reservation at a time.
