The Arlington Police Department invites you to participate in National Night Out (NNO), a nationwide event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie!
This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026.
Arlington neighborhoods, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to organize and register NNO parties, which are meant to bring together neighbors, leaders, police, firefighters, and other city employees in a fun, relaxed environment so they can forge lasting relationships that will help strengthen the community.
National Night Out Party Packs and Swag
The Arlington Police Department has a limited supply of free NNO Party Packs that contain banners and other NNO promotional materials for neighborhoods and organizations that register their NNO parties. The packs are first come, first serve and can be picked up at the APD Crime Prevention Office, which is located at 620 W. Division Street.
NNO shirts and additional swag can be purchased from the official National Night Out online shop on the National Association of Town Watch website.
Project 365
Project 365 gives NNO participants an opportunity to make a difference in their community by supporting a deserving cause or organization.
This year, APD is partnering with The Archway, encouraging NNO participants to collect items for domestic violence survivors and their children.
We’re collecting the following items as part of the Project 365 drive:
children’s clothing sizes 2T & up (t-shirts, leggings, joggers, shorts, and similar items)
diapers in all sizes
pull-ups in all sizes
Items can be dropped off in the collection boxes, which are located in the lobbies of all four APD police stations.
