PALESTINE, Texas (KETK)– The sister of Cynthia Donnell, who was killed in a fatal car crash earlier this month, is keeping her legacy alive by remembering her as someone who always made people smile.
“We were like the three amigos, so to speak. She is the missing piece right now,” Cynthia’s older sister, Rose Warren, said.
63-year-old Donnell was one of five people killed in a horrific head-on crash on Highway 155 near Flint on July 8.
“My heart goes out to everyone that’s impacted,” Warren said.
Warren remembers Cynthia as someone who always made sure the people around her had a smile on their faces.
“We would just play music and dance and just enjoy each other,” Warren said.

Warren said Cynthia would send funny text messages and they were inseparable.
She is leaning on her faith and family to get through this extremely emotional time while carrying on her memory of making people smile every day.
Donnell’s family will be honoring her legacy and joy for life in Palestine this Saturday during her funeral.
