The National Weather Service (NWS) issued several flash flood emergencies across counties in south central Texas, as rainfall accumulation hit double digits in just a few days.
The NWS called the situation “particularly dangerous,” as preliminary reports of rainfall amounts up to 25 inches caused catastrophic flooding in the area.
Footage here captured by X user @truthstreamnews in Kerrville shows the Nimitz Lake overflowing by at least a dozen feet.
