Gary Borders has worn many hats throughout his career—newspaper reporter, editor, publisher, author, photographer, librarian, and radio commentator. His weekly columns have appeared in newspapers across Texas and around the country, and today he continues sharing stories that celebrate East Texas life while preserving its rich history.
When he’s not writing or teaching, you’ll likely find him out on his East Texas farm with his animals, camera in hand, or working among the pine trees.
