Tornado in northwest San Antonio (July 15, 2026)
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — Video footage appears to show a tornado touching down on the Northwest Side Wednesday morning around 8:15 a.m.
The tornado touched down in the area of Loop 1604 and I-10, and then crossed over into The Rim shopping district before continuing to head northeast.
Early indicators suggest the tornado was on the weaker end of the Enhanced Fujita Scale, but nothing has been confirmed.
Damage has been reported at the Palladium movie theater and at Bass Pro Shop along I-10 at The Rim.
The Oasis apartment complex on UTSA Boulevard has significant damage to a roof, but no injuries have been reported.
