Upcoming projects
Project: The road will be widened to four lanes from Moorlynch Avenue to Weiss Lane.
Update: Full utility design was completed in May. If utility relocations continue as scheduled, the project will go out to bid in April 2027.

Ongoing projects
Project: This project will add one tolled lane to I-35 from US 290 East to SH 45, with a diverging diamond intersection at Wells Branch Parkway.
Update: Work is underway to widen frontage roads from Grand Avenue Parkway to SH 45.
