EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Heavy rain has hit parts of the Borderland on Friday, July 17, as this weekend’s forecast is slated for thundershowers.
KTSM 9 News Chief Meteorologist Robert Bettes issued a Weather Authority Alert through Monday due to potentially strong thunderstorms.

The National Weather Service El Paso branch has also issued a flash flood warning for the Northeast and Fort Bliss areas until 6:15 p.m.
